"Do not fear those that hate you openly, for it is all they can do. If they were capable of doing harm, they would. Fear those that befriend you publicly, for they are capable of doing harm."

Moss Side
Suhgis (Watcher)
Then
The Sughis were the group tasked with the maintenance and protection of Truthstone objects. They alone knew the location of the Truthstone cache, and was only made available with their permission. They polished the Truthstone every three days with a secret wax that kept it moist and prevented it from becoming brittle.
Now
Life of the Sughis has changed little over time, with a few added activities. With the growing demand of Truthstone objects by Zeet-ish`Tchizik, the Sughis took on the role of being the sole creators of the formula. The Sughis guard the location of Truthstone with their lives, and are willing to confront anyone with hostile force not bearing the proper credentials.

Azaetzil (Pain Mover)
Then
The Azaetzil were the tribal leaders and primary healers of the Yam`rii tribes. They oversaw the daily activities of the tribe, healed the wounded and were the only ones with the knowledge of Truthstone creation. With the help of the Chayich-ish, the Azaetzil had the materials and knowledge to not only cure afflictions, but create them as well.
Now
With the growing demands of Zeet-ish`Tchizik as a whole, it was decided that every caste group needed to contain an Azaetzil. Being the primary caretaker of their caste, they advise their congregations, focus on the duties of their caste, and participate in the Jahnam (a gathering of Azaetzil where important issues are discussed and voted upon). While much of the burden of the past has been delegated to other castes (Truthstone to the Sughis, healing to the Chayich-ish), the Azaetzil still have a large responsibility to their followers.

Chayich-ish (Tree Spirit)
Then
Historically, the Chayich-ish were the gatherers for the tribe. Daily life included harvesting fruits and vegetables, removal of harmful plants and supplying the Azaetzil with needed materials. Often, the Azaetzil required the components from a specific beast, and the Chaych-ish would harvest the required organs from the carcass of the fresh kill. The close proximity to the Azaetzil gave the Chayich-ish an increased knowledge of the medicinal formulas, which would shape their role in the future.
Now
When the decision was made to create an Azaetzil for every caste, the Chayich-ish were charged with the preservation of the medicinal knowledge. Not only are they the primary doctors for Zeet-ish`Tchizik, they are also the morticians. Harvesting organs from carcasses gave them great insight to the basic anatomy, and they use this knowledge to prepare and preserve the deceased to this day.
